Initial Consultation
15 minute Phone consult to work out wants and needs from design assistance.
Walk Through Consultation – This is a 1 to 2 hour meeting.
I ask you to collect pictures of what you like ahead of the consultation. You can do this with magazine tear sheets or file pictures on Pinterest. I also ask you to have a goal in mind of what you want to achieve in your home. During our walk through I take pictures for visual inventory checklist. From this meeting I put together a scope of work for you.
Mentoring and advice for your renovation or new build
You have great ideas, and you want to do the research and design yourself. But you would love to have a designer on board for reassurance that your selections are cohesive and you will get the best out of each space.
We can book time to go over your plans, selections and offer ideas and suggestions. Give us a call to discuss what package will be best for you.
Colour Consultation
Paint and wall treatments
Choosing colour can be a daunting experience. If you are wanting a hand in selecting colour to suit the look, feel and style of home.
I can arrange a site visit approximately up to two hours to view the property and go through ideas with you.
I will research through my extensive colour library and select a scheme for you.
Once we agree on scheme. I will specify in detail the brand and colour selected for e.g:
- Walls
- Skirting
- Architraves
- Cornice
- Eaves
- And facia for a painter.
Spatial Planning
Creating a positive space needs to be practical, functional, beautiful, to meet all the needs of those that live in it. Planning is key. We plan spaces to have a natural flow. We create mood boards, furniture plans incorporating optimal space planning.
Floor Selections – including tiles, timber flooring, carpet, rugs
Custom Furniture Design – sofas, armchairs, dining chairs, ottomans etc
Lighting – we help select pendants, wall sconces, lamps, and outdoor lighting.
Window Covering – including curtains, blinds, and shutters.
Insulation – we arrange delivery and install on all products.
Soft Furnishing – selecting cushions, throws and lampshades can be very confusing. Let us take out the stress by sourcing this for you to go beautifully with your colour palate.
Re upholstery – repurposing existing furniture. Fabric selections to keep it up to date with the overall look you are wanting to achieve.
